At Essence of Africa, we don't just grow crops — we grow careers, communities, and a sustainable future for Ugandan agriculture. Join a passionate team connecting the best of Africa to the world.
Essence of Africa was founded on a belief that Africa's natural abundance deserves to reach the world — and that the people who make that happen deserve to thrive. When you join our team, you become part of a direct link between Ugandan smallholder farmers and global food markets.
We are a growing company with the energy of a startup and the experience of 27 years. Our team spans agronomy, food processing, export logistics, quality control, marketing, and administration — all working toward one goal.
Market-rate compensation with performance bonuses, health coverage, and annual reviews.
Training programmes, skills development funding, and clear promotion pathways within a growing organisation.
Work with international buyers, attend trade fairs, and build a professional network that stretches from Kampala to Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
Your work directly supports 1,000+ smallholder farming families and contributes to sustainable agriculture across Uganda.
We are proudly African — sourcing from African soil, employing African talent, and building economic prosperity for African communities at every step of the supply chain.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards — from the seeds planted in our fields to the labels on our export packaging. Quality is not a checkpoint; it is our culture.
Every relationship we build — with farmers, buyers, or employees — is founded on fairness, transparency, and mutual respect. We grow only when everyone in our ecosystem grows.
Agriculture and food science are evolving. We invest in our people's knowledge, encourage curiosity, and create space for innovation at every level of the organisation.
