Habanero — Bright, Tropical, Uncompromising

Habanero originates in the Amazon basin and travelled north through the Caribbean and into the Yucatán, where it became — and remains — the anchor chili of Mexican hot sauce and salsa. The pods are small (2–6 cm), lantern-shaped, and famous for their fruity, floral, tropical-fruit note that reads clearly through the heat.

Our Uganda-grown Habanero is sun-dried whole, sorted for consistent orange-red colour, and offered in whole, flake, and fine-powder formats — a workhorse chili for craft sauce brands, salsa producers, and food manufacturers building fruity heat into their formulations.
